Systematic Review: Penerapan Informed Consent Dalam Tindakan Sirkumsisi Pada Semua Kelompok Usia
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Circumcision is the surgical removal of some or all of the prepuce from the penis and is the most commonly performed procedure today. The method used in this study is a systematic review according to PRISMA guidelines through 4 databases (PubMed, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Scopus) according to PECO. It was found in Pakistan, Denmark, and England that informed consent had been applied before circumcision. There are pros and cons regarding circumcision, especially those performed on children. This is due to the lack of ability to make their own choices. In addition, a circumcision performed without a medical diagnosis and without informed consent can also be categorized as a criminal assault. Therefore, informed consent needs to be given before circumcision as a principle of legality and protection of human rights.

ABSTRAK
Sirkumsisi merupakan operasi pengangkatan sebagian atau seluruh kulit khitan (prepusium) dari penis dan merupakan tindakan yang paling banyak dilakukan saat ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengkajian ini adalah systematic review sesuai pedoman PRISMA dengan melalui 4 database (PubMed, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Scopus) sesuai dengan PECO. Ditemukan di Pakistan, Denmark, dan Inggris bahwa penerapan informed consent sudah dilakukan sebelum tindakan sirkumsisi. Terdapat pro dan kontra terkait tindakan sirkumsisi terutama yang dilakukan pada anak-anak. Hal ini dikarenakan tidak adanya kemampuan untuk menentukan pilihannya sendiri. Selain itu, tindakan sirkumsisi yang dilakukan tanpa diagnosis medis dan tanpa informed consent juga dapat dikategorikan sebagai penyerangan kriminal. Oleh karena itu, informed consent perlu diberikan sebelum tindakan sirkumsisi sebagai asas legalitas dan perlindungan HAM.
