Konsumsi Makanan Tinggi Zat Besi dan Kejadian Anemia pada Ibu Hamil
Abstract
The incidence of anemia in pregnant women not only endangers the mother's health condition, but can also endanger her pregnancy, which has an impact on the fetus she contains. Anemia in pregnant women can be caused by the lack of optimal fulfillment of nutrients, especially iron, so it is necessary to fulfill iron adequacy for mothers from consuming foods high in iron during pregnancy. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between consumption of foods high in iron and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the Paspan Health Center, Banyuwangi. This study applied a cross-sectional design. The sample size in this study was 72 pregnant women. Data collection was carried out through interviews using Food Recall 2 x 24 hours and filling out questionnaires. The results of the analysis showed that 81.9% of pregnant women had anemia. Fisher's exact test results showed a value of p = 0.03. Furthermore, it was concluded that there is a relationship between the consumption of foods high in iron and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the Paspan Community Health Center, Banyuwangi, so that health workers need to increase the understanding of mothers and families regarding the importance of fulfilling the consumption of foods high in iron during pregnancy.

ABSTRAK
Kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil tidak hanya membahayakan kondisi kesehatan ibu, namun juga dapat membahayakan kehamilannya, yang berdampak pada janin yang dikandungnya. Anemia pada ibu hamil dapat disebabkan karena kurang optimalnya pemenuhan zat gizi terutama zat besi, sehingga perlu dilakukan pemenuhan kecukupan zat besi bagi ibu dari konsumsi makanan tinggi zat besi selama masa kehamilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara konsumsi makanan tinggi zat besi dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil di Wilayah Puskesmas Paspan, Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini menerapkan desain cross-sectional. Besar sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 72 ibu hamil. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawacara menggunakan Food Recall 2 x 24 jam dan pengisian kuesioner. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 81,9% ibu hamil mengalami anemia. Hasil Fisher’s exact test menunjukkan nilai p = 0,03. Selanjutnya disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara konsumsi makanan tinggi zat besi dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil di Wilayah Puskesmas Paspan, Banyuwangi, sehingga tenaga kesehatan perlu meningkatkan pemahaman ibu dan keluarga mengenai pentingnya pemenuhan konsumsi makanan tinggi zat besi selama masa kehamilan.
