Perawatan Luka Berbasis Teori Florence untuk Mendukung Penyembuhan Luka Fase Inflamasi Pasien Pasca Operasi Laparatomi
Abstract
Currently, laparotomy surgery is a health problem that is often encountered in hospitals around the world. After a laparotomy surgical procedure, wound care becomes an important focus because it has the potential to become a breeding ground for bacteria, fungi, or viruses that can cause infection. According to Florence's theory, the environment is the main cause of disease in patients. Therefore, wound care with an environmental approach can be integrated into wound care. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Florence's theory-based wound care on the inflammatory phase wound healing process in post-laparotomy patients. The design of this study was a posttest only with control group, involving 32 post-laparotomy patients in the Emerald Room of Lavalette Hospital Malang who were selected using a purposive sampling technique, then divided into a treatment group and a control group. The results of wound healing in both groups were measured through observation, then an analysis of differences in wound healing was carried out using an independent samples t-test. The results of wound healing in the treatment group were mostly in the very good category, while in the control group most were in the moderate category. The results of the analysis showed a p value of less than 0.05, which indicated a difference in wound healing speed between the two groups. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that wound care based on Florence's theory is effective in accelerating wound healing in the inflammatory phase in post-laparotomy patients.
