Hubungan Antara Kadar Kalsium Serum Dengan Keberhasilan Fisioterapi Pada Pasien Stroke Iskemik

Abstract

Calcium plays an important role in nerve conduction, muscle contraction, and blood clotting. This study aims to determine the relationship of serum calcium levels with the success of physiotherapy in ischemic stroke patients. This study used a cross-sectional design with observational analytics, conducted for 3 months with a sample of 33 people. Based on data analysis, there is the influence of calcium on NIHSS scores, Barthel Index scores and MMT scores (P <0.05). Further research is needed with larger samples and more specific methods such as serum calcium ions.

ABSTRAK

Kalsium memainkan peran penting dalam konduksi saraf, kontraksi otot, dan pembekuan darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar kalsium serum dengan keberhasilan Fisioterapi pada pasien stroke iskemik. Penelitian ini menggunakkan desain cross-sectional dengan analitik observasional, dilakukan selama 3 bulan dengan jumlah sampel 33orang. Berdasarkan analisa data terdapat pengaruh kalsium terhadap skor NIHSS, skor Indeks Barthel dan skor MMT(P<0,05). Diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan sampel yang lebih besar dan metode yang lebih spesifik seperti serum ion kalsium.
